Grant Funded Programs
Bedford Borough's HAF Camps
Our HAF camps are a recurring event during the half term/ school break periods. Bedford Borough council kindly fund us to put on a specific number of camps to cater for a maximum of 30 children per day by providing them with 5 hours worth of Parkour fun and a hot meal totally FREE OF CHARGE!
Run4It - Sponsored by Sport England
Our Run 4 It program was the first successfully grant funded service we offered after a successful application to Sport England provided us with £5,600 to provide Parkour/ Freerunning classes in an attempt to engage individuals who reside in Bedford that may not usually have access to services such as our regular parkour classes. Throughout the 6 weeks, we took the participants through an intense crash course to develop their basic Parkour/ Freerunning skills.
Girls Only Parkour Class
Our Girls only Parkour class was submitted via application to BeActive (formerly known as Team Beds & Luton) who reviewed the application for submitting to Sport England. After a successful award, we received £3,600 to provide a Parkour/ Freerunning class for girls from lower socioeconomic groups or girls with mental health, learning or physical difficulties.
Our Girls only class in collaboration with Fun 4 Young People (F4YP) began in February and will run all the way through until August 2023. The application funding will provide our only female coach the opportunity to enrol in her Parkour UK Level 1 Training Course, various pieces of equipment and for core costs associated such as staff/ facility hire.
